The Facts about Allergic Rhinitis, commonly called Hay Fever

Hay fever is not actually a fever at all - but an allergic reaction caused by pollen, which the human body tries to expel by creating anti-bodies. These are minute molecular structures stored by our bodies that react when anything alien (like pollen spores) attempts to impregnate it. The anti-bodies move on to the offensive and a battle ensues. It's a battle of man versus nature that, until now, has invariably gone the way of nature.

NasalAir Guard® offers a drug-free defensive barrier to the pollen attack by filtering out the offending particles, thus preventing them entering the body through the nose while allowing normal breathing to continue.

It is estimated that around 15% of the world's
population now suffer from some form of hay fever!

Nasalair Guard® has been the subject of scientific research in the UK at the University of Plymouth. "Researchers tested the filters and determined that the guard is quite capable of filtering out the pollen spores that cause hay fever," commented Dr Martyn Polkinghorne. He went on to say, "this device could really ease the plight of a growing number of hay fever sufferers across the world".

Global warming is largely responsible for the increasing incidence of hay fever with trees, plants and grasses all releasing pollen earlier and for a longer period than ever before.
